In the research part of the project theoretical fundamentals like visual perception, visual awareness, human process memory and user behavior are examined to optimize the web usability of www.bild.t-online.de.
In the practical part, different methods of usability testings are introduced. By a extensive test with users and experts, user needs were identified. On the basis of the test results, requirements were redefined which were as visual prototype exemplary realized.
